FYI not a single deer has been taken on our side of the hill this season. First time in as long as I can remember that this has been the case.
I was at the "66" but two friends said they heard some shots on your side. Did you hear of anything else being taken on your side?

I didnt see any other deer taken on my side. heard 4 shots opening morning but not sure he was shooting deer or yotes

We invested in 8 security boxes/python cables, put out a bunch of dummy (broken BTC) cameras, and some well hidden functioning cameras. Some are intentionally in plain view with other cameras watching them. We also put cameras on the road where trespassers come in to grab license plates. We've also got both the DEC and state police investigating photos. I've approached the neighbors with the photos asking for help and telling them I've committed to following through on prosecuting and suing civilly all trespassers. Finally, I've left notes on car windshields telling them the authorities have been called. I've also collected vehicle registration info of the vehichels. Word has spread amongst the locals and sent letters under the trespass statute. It has made a difference this fall. I'm convinced I've got to be the biggest asshole in the county to stem the plague of trespassing. If I identified your turnip thief, I'd have him prosecuted for theft and trespass.

Yeah, they were up blowing up stuff with tannerite making my cabin shake. My wife hade to go home 3 days early with the dog. The poor dog was having a panic attack

That sucks. I assume they are doing it on their land, but close to your place. It's one thing to have an attitude that; "it's my land I can do what I want". It's another to have no respect for the people next to you.
The turnip thief is weird. Seems risky to trespass for a turnip.
On a positive note; the place is looking great and congrats on the crossbow kill. What broadheads are you using, that was one heck of blood trail!
