Working at the Farm - Took a few I-Phone Pics

My prayers and condolences Native. Losing a loved one is hard no matter the cause, but as you described it’s even worse. Peace and comfort to you and family.

Hey guys, if anyone is interested, the story of my 2020 buck is in the fall 2022 issues of Rack Magazine. I just received my copy in the mail today.

We had 10 hours of wind up to 71 MPH. I was out of power for over 2 days and lots of people still out. Today, I patched roofs on my dad's barn and my inlaws storage building and their house. Everything good to go now.

Looking forward to this soon if I can dodge a few storms.

The last few days have been extremely sad and hard ones for me. My mother went into anaphylactic shock, had multiple strokes and eventually passed away from an antibiotic shot (Rocephin) they gave her to treat a simple urinary tract infection. I just wanted to let those who follow my thread know about this since it had been a while since I have posted. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers. It may be a while, but I hope to get back closer to normal at some point in the future. Take Care.....
I am sorry to hear that, there's no replacement for mom. May the Lord be your consolation during this time of loss. I only saw this now because I haven't been on the forum much due to difficulty in opening the site.

Thanks MM and others for the kind words. I'm now having the same computer problems as you are with the site. Sometimes it works and at other times it doesn't. Best wishes to you.

Steve - First time I've logged in to this site in quite a while. For some odd reason, over the past few months, I couldn't access this site with the normal view.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. Hope you dad is doing ok.

Congrats on your buck and the article!

Native, do you find sheds?

G

G, I occasionally find one but not as many as I feel like I should find. I do look for them but don't seem to have a lot of luck. I get pictures of bucks still fighting in my plots in February and March, but I can't ever remember finding a shed in one of my plots. In the last 10 years I have probably found less than 10 sheds.
