Hey all, I'm going to be trying my first grafting this spring. Wondering if anyone has any scion wood for apple and or pear. I'm really looking for blue hill varieties or deer specific draw trees. I'm in zone 6. I have plenty of keifer Pear as it is, would be interested in any other types.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone here has some blue hill scionwood available i know i would get in on purchasing some as well. Ryan never has any extras to spare as think he grafts max amount he can and most of my blue hill trees are still young yet, not getting good scionwood quite yet.

I am planning on trying my hand at grafting this spring for the first time. There is a number of volunteer callery pear on a property I am managing in NE Kansas. These pear are very invasive in this area of Kansas and rather than killing the small trees, I will try some grafting. I do have two pear trees (cannot remember the variety) at my place in southwest Kansas that I plan to harvest scion wood from and will try to get some scion from a old producing pear in that area. I likely will have some questions as I go along..

Hello there OHBB, whereabouts in Ohio are you located? I can send you scion, but I don't have any Blue Hill varieties. I have access to 50+ varieties (two local nurseries that let me collect scion before they prune, also from my own trees or trees at my parents). Also have Ayers and Olympic/Korean Giant pear, plus a dozen varieties at one of the orchards.
