Chestnut question

I have a couple of young trees, and they are kind of producing a few nuts. I'm wanting to plant some. Will these small little nuts grow, or are they undeveloped?

The large ones should sprout but those small caved in looking ones won’t.

The tiny, shriveled ones are unfertilized.
