Live from the stand 2021

I don’t think I’ve ever been more screwed by the wind than I was this morning. The expected cool front came through overnight and we went from 88 degrees yesterday to 55 degrees this morning. Supposed to be perfect N/NW wind until I get in the stand and it’s inexplicably blowing from the East. I heard a buck grunt early then that was replaced by lots of deer blowing. So far I’ve had deer blow at me from 4 different directions. Lame.
Same exact thing happened to us Saturday morning...was supposed to be N/NW and the very light breeze was S/SE...could see bucks coming and then they busted us...every deer ended up busting us.

First coronavirus sit high on a ridge. It is 7:38 am here and I have had 3 bucks pass by so far. The first buck came by about 7:15 behind me at 20 yards and I went into a coughing fit...somehow it didn’t bother him and he came right on by on my left side...

Cool start to the season! I got a cell cam notification at 7:56 from a camera about 300 yards to my NW with a small buck headed south. I was thinking, how cool would that be if he made his way down to me on the eastern side? About 10 minutes later I heard a little bit of trotting and he came in with another small buck not far behind. He came straight at me from the W and then turned at 5 yards and continued heading south with the second buck pushing/bullying him along. Almost 3 years to the day of my first sit on the property (10/22/2018) where I had a small buck cross in front of me...and from the same stand even.

Up a tree here on our place. Wind switched to N and it rained and is 50. Bumped 2 deer walking in at 6 am. All I have seen is a doe and 2 fawns.
