Looks sweet. I’ve toyed with the idea of a 6.5WSM but haven’t been able to rationalize it to date. Why did you go the SAUM route? Did you go with a 1:8 twist?

A few different reasons, but the main one is I have another Saum on a short action I shoot 130 Berger’s out of so I already had everything to reload. Which with today’s ammo market, is a big deal.

It’s just such an effective and efficient cartridge, I just didn’t see the need to go another route
 
My 6.5-284 with 8 twist shoots the 156 quite well. Great looking rifle you have there. And bet you'll love your UL5.
