Weed in corn field

Cutman, when it makes a seed head, that should make it much easier to ID.

Those wide blades makes me think of St. Augustine that I have seen when visiting further south.

Definitely not St. Augustine - that’s what I have in my yard. If I remember correctly it produces a little white flower eventually. I will update with more pics as it grows. Thank you.

When you said white flowers - that tells me what it probably is - Annual Bluegrass. It only grows 6 to 8 inches high when left unmowed and has seed heads that look white. And, the stuff is hard to kill. Link below with picture:

...everybody around here grows their weed/grass in ........oh, wait a minute.....never mind. Just tell people it's GIANT RAGWEED and to mind their own business!:D

I just know that all across Indiana there is more than just corn out in them fields....
I've wiped out a few weed patches years ago. But it's not fun when you feel like you've got to watch over your shoulder all the time. I think next time I see some I'll just walk the other way.

I wouldn't bat an eye! I'd either setup a cam to catch them or simply give it a good shot of gly! I can't stand trespassers and I go right after them. Besides the biggest gang in these parts is the FFA!

Poa annua is best controlled with a pre-emergent. I have some in my back yard that I need to treat this fall. Probably not gonna get it all in one app either. Twice a year I think is what I was told. September and Jan-Feb maybe.

Cutman, I don't recognize it. It isn't anything I've ever seen growing here. Makes me think of Deer Tongue Grass, but looks a little different.
