Anyone had Covid?

Been under the weather last three days, nothing horrible just low fever an bad headache. I was thinking and hoping it was a sinus infection after working in chicken houses Monday but can’t seem to shake it. Wife has me on a telemed for 345 this afternoon. Praying nothing serious corn harvest starts next week.
No coughing or sore throat or anything. Anyone else diagnosed Covid?

I was diagnosed negative Saturday evening in my preparation for emergency surgery after the "accident" at the creek. So I'm not much help

It went through our area the last week of May and 1/4 of the local people had it including two of my children whom I live with, but the others in the household didn't get it. Since then only the heavily quarantined retirement homes in the area have had pockets of it, otherwise, it's come and gone, but the government of PA won't admit it.

.....Yes. I will try to keep it short. Please be for warned if you are sensitive or have a vivid imagination STOP NOW!!!

We were celebrating my oldest son's birthday at the creek with family and friends. We have an awesome place along with a great rope swing I made. We were all playing a game of creek tag when the kids ganged up on me and got a little excited and pushed me in the creek. Normally this isn't a big deal but where they pushed me in there are some snags and roots still exposed. We'll I landed on one of them and impaled myself. The stob entered through the right side of my anus ripping both musles exiting the other side of my right butt cheek. It ended up ripping me a new one 4" wide over 8" deep. To make matter worse I removed myself from the impalement. Thus adding insult to injury. I was rushed by vehicle 45 minutes away to the closest hospital that could handle something like that. Almost bled out in route. Ended up having emergency surgery to repair the damage. Doctors think I'll be ok. Not a very fun recovery. ¼ to the left and I would have perforated my bowls leading to a whole other list of problems. But.....I did test negative for Chinavirus

 Good Gravy!!!! Glad you are okay and you don't have the Chinavirus. Although I think I would of rather had that than the other. :D

I'm thinking the same thing. I've learned the cough/sneeze bone is connected to the butt!@#$ bone.

Oof ! I can’t imagine the pain that must have been. A very good friend of mine had a nephew that had the same wound, but a feral hog did it to him. He was by himself and thought he wasn’t gonna make it to the hospital. Evidently you bleed a LOT in that area. Man, I hope you heal quickly !

As to the original question, I might have had it back in February, I’m not sure. I just felt really bad for about a week, no cough, low grade fever, just felt like I’d have to get better to die. On the fourth day I used some Zicam swabs and took some Zicam tablets, (actually two days running), and I immediately felt better. Might have only been a cold, I don’t know. The symtoms vary so much from person to person, and I’ve not been tested to see.

That's seriously awful. Glad that you are recovering.

Dang Pinesap hope you heal quickly. As you know that could’ve very well been life threatening.
As for Covid. Haven’t had it but 2 young people I know did. Flu like symptoms w headache and fever and tired. Recovered within wk. Some in this area been going for testing but it’s been a flu bug passing thru and not Covid so I guess that’s good.

Had it back in April, went through our whole family. Mom had it the worse, was in the hospital for a few days and now still dealing with some vertigo issues from where the virus attacked her inner ear they believe. As for the rest of us, mostly just a head cold and we all lost our taste and smell for 2-3 days.

Chuck has had it. Whether he caught it in the clinic or off a gas pump is anyones guess.
He ended up running a fever 10 days straight, very high at times, but never had shortness of breath.
His wife caught it, I'm sure from him, and only had a low fever a couple of days.
They both tested positive for rona while his oldest son had fever 7 days, high at times, came back negative, twice.

Dr said she thought it was a sinus infection, gave me antibiotics. I’ve never had a sinus infection where I had a fever and headache for 3 days straight but I’m trusting the professional for now.
Glad your ok pine, that’s awful painful to read.

Wow PSJ. That hurt to read. Good luck with the healing process.
We had a fantastic creek hole with rope swing when I was in 7th grade. I took off on a big run, foot caught a big root, took off my whole big toe nail. Momentum took me on into the muddy creek. Ouch but nothing like you described.
I had small heart procedure in June and was negative. Another next week so new test coming

Here and maybe everywhere the Red Cross is testing for antibodies if you give blood as long as the funds are available. I have at least 4 times I thought I had something but, no way I’m going to get the government involved with a test. Next time the blood drive is in town I might find out. Missed the last one
