The Farm - Madison County, GA

Good stuff! I think I like the chants better myself... I live just outside of Madison county in oglethorpe county, and love seeing the habitat threads on properties that are close to mine! Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum

    What would you do

No, I didn’t plan on making it a perennial plot, but the clover was doing so well that it didn’t seem like a good idea to till it under and replant. And now that there are beans planted all around it really doesn’t seem like a good idea to plant something else. Just seeing what you all think...

    What would you do

I’ve got a real nice crimson and red clover plot that I planted this fall that is still going strong. I know that the clover probably won’t make it through the heat of the Georgia summer. I’m wondering if I should kill it now and plant something that will tolerate the heat or just let it ride...

    Is this prickly sida?

So the title pretty much says it. I'm talking about the leaves with a purple hue. The plant also has small yellow flowers, and a bean pod that looks like an immature soybean. It's growing around one of my food plots, and she deer are browsing it like crazy! Sent from my iPhone using Deer...

    Triple C's Place

That's awesome. Your place looks great as well. I used to follow on the QDMA forum and check it out on the GON forum as well. Coincidentally I live in Oglethorpe county, I only have an acre and a half, but my parents have 80 some odd just outside of winterville. I have just started doing habitat...

Those fish look familiar...I spent a week up there around Fairbanks the middle of July. All I got to fish for were greyling although we did see a few kings way up the chena river. Here's the view out of my grandparents property just outside Fairbanks A pretty nice view, but there are lots of...

    What is it

It has more the appearance of ragweed. A little more info on it, it grew there last year as well, and at the end of the summer it put on pods the looked a bit like inch and a half long green beans. They were filled with tons of tiny seeds, not much bigger than the period at the end of this...

    What is it

Like the title says, what is it? It's growing around my parents pond. In the last pic, the little star looking thing is where the bloom was. And the blooms were small and yellow, and the stems are square if that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum
