Thank you, I've seen the maturity charts several places. I've seen trees that hold fruit till it's shriveled (January and February) around herw. I was hoping someone knew variets that fruits drop easily from.

I was looking into planting pears or apples and was curious if there was a chart of drop times? If not I'm hoping enough members can give me a idea of when and what will drop fruit during hunting season?

I've seen people try but haven't seen success ratio or follow ups. I'm just curious. Never tried but was hoping another member had.

Was going to take cuttings and plant them from several different apple and crabapple trees. From the videos I've watched this seems to be the time of year for it. My questions are
1 What type of potting soil to start.
2 What type of rooting hormone.
3 Where do I keep them.
4 When to repot and...
Listened to this the other night. Couldn't take notes fast enough well worth listening to again. Has anyone ordered from them?

Was hoping to use the 15 acres as one of the blocks. There are 3 other definitive blocks with another hemlock grove in the middle that borders all blocks on the interior side of all of them. We have treated it as a sanctuary for 5 or 6 years. Never entering unless trailing a wounded deer.ill see...
Spruce sounds like it would work our soil works well for hemlock and spruce trees. Would feathering edges of old logging roads and clear cuts be better to establish edges or row planting 3 or 4 rows wide to break blocks up? Water is a non issue wherever there's a drop in elevation of more than...
Yes we have a 5 year old cuttimg (appx15 ac.) And are thinking of dozing some of it for kill plots with the saplings for funneling. The biggest problem we face is moose browsing small saplings, have yet to see them eat any food plots.is there any other way to screen/ steer deer with a taller...
My uncle has been wanting to implement something similar on his land. He wanted to just plant 1/4 to 1/2 acre kill plots we have a 6 acre destination plot already and are planting the kill plots this spring we cleared last summer. He has bedding areas all around his land (very rural and only...
Seeded clover and had my third daughter today her name is clover. The lord Christ has blessed me very much. Now I can always tell her how old the plot is to the day.[emoji6]

We had 8" of snow in mothers day a few years ago and never plant before memorial day. Seems that waiting a few weeks would be safer.
