Well my 21 year old daughter decided she wants to shoot a bow,she has always rifle hunted.I have always shot hoyts but not looking to invest that much in first bow.Looks like the bowtech edge is fairly popular any other suggestions

Probably don't make them anymore, but very happy with my Diamond Outlaw. The whole package was under 400.00, but I put a ripcord rest on it that bumped it to 500.

I love my Bowtech Assassin and my wife has the ladies version called the “Heartbreaker”...nice stuff!

Diamond's infinite edge is a great starter bow, has crazy amounts of adjustability and is very affordable. Only negative for me is the grip is too narrow, but for a smaller hand works very well.

I've been pretty impressed with the Mission line of bows from Mathews. They seem to use tech that's just a few years behind the official Mathews brand. I haven't shot one in a few years but for about half the money, they're a great option.

This is the bow I see recommended the most when your question is posed.

If your daughter is left handed let me know as I have what is basically a new Diamond Prism bow that I purchased for my little nephew but it turns out the so called "bow technician" got his eye dominance incorrect and he is right eye dominant..

Specs can be viewed here to see if it could fit her as it is pretty adjustable according to the web site.

It is blue in color like the one in the link which might be nice for a female. I have tried to sell it a few times with no takers (I guess lefty archers are rare) If she is left handed it is yours free, just cover shipping $25. I would rather see it go to use than just sit in the box.

Let me know.

Thanks for the offer but she is right handed,my other daughter is right handed but left eye dominant but she has a left handed mission she shoots.Do you have a 4H group in your area maybe they could use.Couple years ago I won a assault shotgun that I didn't need but was able to set up a trade with a FFL dealer to trade it for a shotgun the 4H trap kids could use so I gave it to them.

I have the same problem. My 5-year-old son is left handed (most of the time) and right eye dominant. I'm teaching him to shoot a bow right handed.
