SD Micro cards and adpaters?

Thinking of switching over to micro SD cards with adapter for trail cams so I can view them via a tablet I have that only views micro cards. Now I run my cams with pic and vid usually 20 second vid clips.

What size micro SD and speed is best for this? One miro sd card I picked up from SanDisk says 64 GB and speed up to 100 MB/s. Is that the proper speed for Cuddeback cams?

As you can see I am not a tech guy

Thanks

Instead of the adapters you could get a card reader that lets you view the regular SD cards on your tablet. I use this one that I can plug directly into my phone.

Actually none of the adapters including the one you posted works with the tablet I have. The location of the micro SD slot does allow for it. It is either switch to micro cards or buy a new tablet that works with SD cards and given most of my current SD cards are pretty old I think switching to the micro migth be the more cost effective option.

This reader doesn't plug into the SD slot. It plugs into the port you charge the tablet from. But, if that won't work, you need to look at the camera specs because some of the cameras need the slower speed cards to work.

You can buy the 16GB SD cards at Walmart for $5ish each. Similar price on Amazon. They have worked well in my Cuddeback cameras.

It’s odd that the above adapter wouldn’t work in your tablet. Does it not have any USB ports?

To answer your question, I would look for a 32GB card. I’m fairly certain that’s the max size some Cuddebacks support. 100 MB/s should be fine.
