Now you just showin' out! You know I can throw down on some mighty fine big dog country breakfasts at the farm. That's when I'm Superman when the kids and grandkids are around. Here in the NW burbs of Atlanta during the week (when not traveling), I'm Clark Kent. I had a greek salad with no meat for dinner. Did throw some walnuts on top for a little protein. And, according to my doc...I'm still 30 lbs north of where I should be. It's a freakin' battle. That’s not a real breakfast. Mine wins.

Trust me...I get it.Sorry Tripple C, but I'm with grandpa and Dogghr.
I just don't have that kind of discipline...
Sad to say it was not a snack. I'll redeem myself at the farm and post some sho nuff breakfasts pics before too long.I'm at loss for words..... (Which is dang near impossible for me.) Please tell me that was just a snack!
Triple you need find a new Dr that is heavy, smokes, drinks , cusses, eats poorly , and goes to church on Sundays. Now that’s one you can trust and won’t sweat an extra few pounds on his patient. Just sayin. Lol
Yeah...Docs these days seem to want perfection. All blood work is good. No cholesterol issues, sugar levels good, etc. Take 1/2 tablet of blood pressure med daily. I'm 5'8" and a stocky 216, which I've been for along time, give or take a few pounds either way. In gym pretty much every day when in the office doing cardio and strength training, but the extra 20 to 30 lbs, according to doc, will eventually catch up with me. Says I need to be at 185 which I haven't seen since school days.
Thing that sticks with me the most from his badgering me to lose weight is his infamous words, "How many overweight 80 year olds do you see?" I reply, "hardly any." He say's, "that's because their dead". Hmmmm. Eye-opening observation.

You are to be admired eating healthy , just such a shocke so simple a meal compared to what you usually show. Carry on and I’ll try to be more polite, well it was fun.
You know you only hurt the ones you love. Luv ya man, but you ain’t gettin my bud light. . Carry on.

Hoosier...May smoke me a couple avocado's on the Traeger and give it a try. Ain't making it down to the farm as much this year as previous years so just added a Cabela's brand pellet grill to the home front. Liking the Cabela's grill. Threw this marinaded salmon on the grill this past weekend.Triple, how long did you put that in the Traeger? Just kidding buddy! So used to seeing your farm spreads that I think that breakfast has us all in shock. I have an old friend that every time we’re at a steakhouse and the waitress asks him if he wants a salad he replied with, “salad?! That’s what food eats!”

I denied the gravy as trying to cut back!! That breakfast is from a restaurant associated with a cattle and buffalo farm not far from me. It’s called Loggers Manly Breakfast and is awesome. Even BrianVT who posts on here had that breakfast with me few weeks back. That salmon would get my vote for the healthy breakfast.
Dogghr’s occasionally and I’m assuming there’s a bowl of gravy hiding somewhere.
