Ford planter parts

I know this isn't technically the place to list stuff but I know itll get more attention on here.

I'm helping a landlord clean up around his place and I found some parts for a Ford planter, I know some guys on here have them so I thought I'd see if someone can use them over them going to scrap. Not sure exactly what model they fit. There may be more parts I find as well.

Theres 4 wheels, 12 of the blue corn plates and 4 of the white ones. $2/ each for the plates plus shipping, the wheels can be had for shipping costs.

If they will work for my Ford 309 Ill take the plates. Let me do some investigating.

The white plate is for soybeans (beans) at a "heavy rate"
The blue plate is a corn plate for "Medium rate large, flat, thick grade seed" - back in the "old days" corn seed was graded for size and shape....it's not done that way any more. So you have to run a trial with your seed to see what plates works best.

The plastic plates are also prone to breaking if you do not have a reversing clutch on your planter...so having some spares is always nice.

They should work fine on a 309 ford plate planter.

Dan, if your looking for something in particular I might be able to help. I don't openly sell mine because I still use my planter, but if you need something I'll help another habitat nut out.

Sorry Dan, I worked out a deal with BBT awhile ago. He just hasn't had the time to ship them to me. Maybe J-Bird can help you out.

Just doing the right thing in my book is all... It's not often I can help....so when I can...I try to. I have gotten a lot of help from my fellow "habitat junkies" over the years and I try to re-pay that when I can....and opportunity comes in many forms. I'm happy you appreciated my offer to assist.
