I lost my thread about The Farm over on the other site but wanted to start it new here. I think y'all will recall the pictures I had posted at the end of the buck I'm gonna chase this year--been watching him for about 4 years and estimate him to be at least 6. He's a 220 lb buck easily. These next three pictures are from night before last.

Just a FYI, deer, especially bucks, LOVE Trophy Rocks. They are only lasting me around two weeks.

Yep, can't say I have ever seen vultures at my mineral stations.

Two nice bucks.

We spent yesterday spraying our fields hopefully for the last time before planting in September. Should be getting chicken litter on them in a week or two and the smell will keep the deer off of them for three or so to give them time to get going. So, about the time the acorns get gone, the plots should be rocking. I will post up some more as we move forward on that.

Glad you brought your thread over Tommy! I need to connect with you and Triple C at some point this year or next. Maybe Triple C will cook us up a batch biscuits.

Looks like you are 100% ready for deer season with great deer in place and food plots on schedule. Hope you and your son have a great season.

Those are some fine looking bucks! Never seen vultures in a salt lick. I got a pic of a turkey in one of my mineral licks:confused:

Glad to see you start your thread here Tommy! Nice looking bucks. I'd be all about getting together with Tenured Student.

It doesn't matter to me when either. During or after deer season is fine with me. I need to get my thread going and have y'all over some time as well.
