In an effort to stop CWD in Michigan, baiting will be banned in the entire lower peninsula starting January 31st. Counties considered at risk will have immediate bans and can use up to 10 antlerless private land tags per person.
Michigan has a very high number of hunters and most of them dump out a lot of bait. I expect food plots to appear everywhere now.
I have had increased food plot competition with my neighbors to the north and south in these past few years.. time to step up my game!
