Why does the DEERHUNTERFORUM page not load properly?

I’ve never had a problem on IPhone or iPad, I just thought all you guys went on vacation……:)
Tapatalk free version always works fine, I just don't like it because the format isn't quite as user friendly and they are always trying to sell you something, plus lots of popup ads. I think I will try using it exclusively and hopefully I'll get used to it.

I don’t use tappa, I just save the Deer Hunter Forum to my home screen as I do Texas Bowhunter, Bowsite, etc. They are on my screen just like apps, tap them to open and voila !

I also always did the home screen icon, so I just hit it right now and this is still what it looks like

I never had a problem until yesterday. Now I have the same issue on my laptops. I haven’t changed anything. I’m replying on my phone, which still is okay.

We're waiting on the forum admin to get the software updated. It's a pretty old version. What likely happened is you web browser updated. It's still working on my PC with Microsoft Edge, as long as I make sure the url has http, not https.

Thanks for the info.

Mine works fine phone and computers. I guess our lady on top of the mountain that does our Semaphore flag dependent internet system in our hills has been updated to current arm management.

:D

We had so-so internet for years until just recently. Our electrical co-op strung fiber optic and we hooked up to that. Internet is lightening fast now and saved $60 a month to boot.

Yea I shouldn’t complain. Fiber optic now across the state even in rural areas. $35 month. Love it. Cut the cord w tv long ago. Save chunk of money compared to cable or satellite . If only there was something on tv or internet worth the time. Thankgoodness for YouTube.

Will everyone please comment in this thread to report if their issues are/aren’t resolved? RGrizzzzz has spent a bunch of his free time this weekend working on the site, and we think he has fixed it. Thank you very much, Ron.

Next step is to move the site to a different server and upgrade the software.

I'm still working through some forum prep for the migration. You may notice some small lack of functionality leading up to the migration. A number of forum add-ons in the legacy software work differently in the cloud based version of the forum. Right now, I've disabled most of the add-ons. You'll notice avatar pictures aren't showing. Members can upload their avatar pics again. I believe they'll migrate, but you might just want to wait for the cloud migration.

I just hope we don’t lose the pictures because I think if all the property tour stuff is lost it will end this site...

I frequently experienced the improper load problem described by many, but have not seen it in the last couple days.
