Show us your handguns

That's not full blown custom? What else would you do to it... you know... if you were made of money?

Oh my no, that’s a stock Ruger Flattop commissioned by Lipsey’s, a big distributor based in Baton Rouge I think. If I were made of money, I’d probably get a real blue job instead of the factory blue, then color case harden the frame, real ivory or bighorn sheep grip panels, possibly put a Bisley hammer and trigger in it. Bowen rear sight and Fermin Garza front. The list is endless. I’ll see if I can lift a few pics off the net to give you an idea.

Actually, my guns are using guns, not show guns. I wouldn’t mind having one showpiece, but I’d be scared it would get a scratch on it !

I ran into a good deal on Starline 41 mag brass so I picked it up, no 41 mag wheelgun. Found a Smith 57 and a 657. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. It's a fun caliber.

That's such a good idea. Tell my wife I need to buy another gun because I have a case of ammunition and no gun to shoot it in.

A man can not afford to let a bargain get away. Buy the ammo and the gun will come home !:D

If I'm telling my wife about it the plan is already doomed... That's not actually true, I hit critical mass a while back and she no longer knows or cares how many I get as long as I convince her we're not losing money.

And the Ruger Bisley Flattop in .44 Special that I’ll be picking up Saturday at noon. View attachment 22270
I love adoptions!

Besides barrel length it looks almost exactly like my single six.

Nice looking revolver there Travis ! I’m slowly getting rid of my double actions and going to all single action Ruger Bisleys. They just fit me better. I scored a Ruger Bisley Super Blackhawk Hunter .44 mag off Gunbroker last night. Can’t wait to set it up as my primary hunting handgun for this fall. Some pigs are gonna die !
