Go to post #29 in the "What's for Dinner???" thread and you'll see my go to recipe I stole from Harry Soo several years ago.

Guys, trust everyone is doing good and moving on with life post-Covid. I'm not on here much any more. My fault. Since we moved to the new place near Brooks n Ashli n grandkids life has just slap got busy. Haven't even put out cameras at the Triple C this year. Pulled a dogghr on my plots...just let Mother Nature do her thing until time to plant this fall. No mowing of fields...nothing. Plenty of clover growing amongst whatever's growing in the plots but just not too pretty to look at like I normally kept it.

New place keeping me plenty busy. And we have plenty of deer there. Hopefully when cooler temps arrive, grandkids back in school and things slow down a bit I'll find time to get up to date on all the property threads and contribute some myself. Keeps swinging for the fences guys! Life is short!

And BTW gut_pile...the ribs look perfect!

Dang you Triple, now I'm going have go get a snack even tho I had a great Mexican dinner/Margaritas. I'm like you, life has changed drastically and I haven't been able to contribute much. Hopefully settles soon and I can return. Glad you living and eating well my friend. And for goodness sakes don't do anything that crazy mountain man may try. Moonshine fries brain cells thru the years!!

dogghr...Good thing about a lil moonshine...in moderation of course...is that it fries a few of the crazy brain cells we all got in us. We all got a touch of crazy in us. We do a pretty good job of hiding the crazy cells.

Speaking of change - I recall posting a thread a couple years back about 4th qtr ramblings in life. Just turned 65 and right slap in the middle of the 4th qtr. Life has changed. Moved into the new place surrounded by family and friends of old. Golfed last friday with one of my best friends from the area we moved back to. Haven't seen him in prolly 8 or 10 years. Picked up right where we left off. Still working but eyeing the finish line. As for the farm...it's there waiting for me and hopefully, always will be.

A lil more rambling...prior to moving back to where the kids grew up, it was just the wife and me here in our little abode near work. I could spend an hour or more every evening checking in here and a local forum that I've been active on for years. Now it's grandkids n family running around most evenings with little time for tv or cruising the depths of the internet. Kinda like it.

Best explanation I’ve ever heard for ignoring the internet! Grandpups are the dessert of life!

Always great to hear an update from you TC - and those ribs look like they would melt in the mouth.
