I noticed the BLM and Antifa when protesting didn’t have live ammo used on them like what was happening at the capital today on patriots.

I have been having this thought over and over in my head this week. I don’t think any of us “normal people “ can remotely fathom how corrupt our government is. Thank you for your service to this country. Sounds like we need more like you.
My Dad was a career Army officer. West pointer. 2 tours in nam as an infantry officer. He always told me “you have nothing to fear from foreign nations, you’re only concern is the enemy within, especially the government”. Damn if he wasn’t spot on.

Can anybody give me one example in human history where government WASN’T the problem? We are made in the Image of God just a step lower than the angels. Human nature is to be uncontrolled by anyone while controlling everyone. Government tries to control that nature which NEVER has, and never will, work.

I tend to agree with the pendulum swinging back. Damage will be done but the system is set up to make big change hard for a reason. My biggest concern would be stacking the Supreme Court although that’s a dangerous political move for either party. There’s nothing to prevent the other side from returning the “favor” the next time they’re in control.
The damage of 2020 has been done and the next few years will be rocky regardless.

That’s been tried and is only guarantees the lesser of the two evils loses. I’d love to see a legitimate 3rd party but it’s not gonna happen.

So what is the answer? I am as pissed off with the Republicans as anyone, but how do we fix this problem? Is The America we have grown up with really gone? Do we just sit back and let the Democrats run it completely in the ground? What does it take to get a viable third-party off the ground?
